I've had a tablet for longer than I can remember. Ever since the Apple Newton tantalized and then fell I've lusted after some input combination that will handle cursive script. Even with today's high-resolution devices and phenomenal computing power I remain sadly disappointed.
For myself, I find that Tablets are fine for 'art', okay for the occasional quick (and crude) note/annotation, and inadequate for anything else.
Perhaps the truth is that I am inadequate at these tasks but, practically speaking, the end result is the same.

I have to agree... Maybe is what you say especially true when the tablet is separate from the screen... Is yours an... actual Tablet PC though...? Because writing directly on the screen seems to me like it would actually be MUCH easier. At least one knows (should know?) exactly were he/she's writing! The problem though (in the case of a tablet PC) would be to be able to quickly switch between keyboard and tablet mode, which is what a Wacom tablet painlessly allows (IMO). But I don't own a tablet PC, so all this is mostly speculations.
Anyhow... I'll try to use my Wacom to make simple annotations on the scanned pages of my math workbook during the next class... Will see... Should be okay. :tellme:

I really haven't any use for one.
