xp language options

(1/1)

techidave:
I have been asked by a local church who wants to send computers to Mexico for the local pastors to use.  I am wondering about how to setup these computers in English and then to have everything in Spanish when they deliver them down there.

I have been looking at the language options in XP's control panel but don't think that will fit the bill.  Is there something else that will work?

I know Microsoft has this multilingual user interface (MUI) but that will probably not be an option for us.

speaking of options, do I have any options to accomplish what they are wanting to do?

thanks,
dave

With XP you would have to buy a spanish language version.
Sorry, I dont know if it would be possible to have english as the "install" language for a spanish language version XP.

What you could do was use nlite to cleate an unnatended install for the spanish windows. This'd also make it easier to deploy, configure once and you're done ;)
