I am wondering how many of you have utilized trialpay as a means of purchasing a program? What programs do you know of which support this method of payment? I know of Winrar, mIRC, and winzip, but what else does?

Here's a somewhat old list of TrialPay offers (probably not comprehensive): http://maggiewang.com/200...lpay-free-software-offers

The comments include additional info and at least one pointer to another list.

I've used TrialPay a couple times, and I'd use it again if I found a set of deals I wanted - but it's still a buyer beware situation.  A few comments:

  • look for eBay offers - at least once they had an offer where all you had to do was make a bid - you didn't even have to win the item;
  • use it only when the trial you're paying for is something you'd purchase without the software (or pretty close to it);
  • realize that you might pay more for the thing you're buying on TrialPay than if you bought directly though the vendor's site.  In this case you're essentially paying for the 'free' software by paying more for whatever you're buying on TrialPay, so the 'free' software might not be that much of a bargain.  I know this is true for some or all of the flower offers;

Josh - I registered my copy of Ad Muncher through TrialPay yesterday and it was great! I bought a product that I needed anyway (spare toner cartridge) at a very competitive price.  Thmbsup

bumping, one of my favorite games have recently become available with trialpay. If you wanna try out trialpay you could get Cortex Command. It's great but you need a pretty powerful cpu to run it reasonably. And it has pretty shallow content since they have been focusing on getting the engine up and running, but a few mods can help that out.

Just be sure you browse through the sponsors to get the offer you have to pay less for. That list is a bit old, I think this one has most of the trialpay programs (says 400) - http://goodle.crmreports....ed-400-with-trialpay.html

I don’t know - they will have to get some actual products there before I'll look at it harder. I just checked out getting Returnil Premium with TrialPay but most of the items there are either services that I do not need, or subscriptions; subscriptions to magazines, credit report junk, and that sort of thing.

Nothing there like purchase a book or DVD at Amazon, or a USB Flash drive anywhere. That would be a draw for me.

Thanks!

The other good one I saw was Roboform.

I did the Snapfish trial. Very easy and cheap. I signed up, they gave me 50 free prints. I bought one print with the credit they gave me. So, I got Returnil for the 90 cents postage that Snapfish charged me.

here is a nice list of trialpay offers http://www.freebytrial.com/

over 365 trialpay offers. The site is not professionally done, but it does offer most comprehensive collection of free software downloads with trialpay.

my experience with trialpay has been nothing short of blissful ;-), if you know what i mean.
i got to get full version downloads for free, simply by trying out other products, like zoom panel (no cc required)
and fill out a 5 minute survey. Cant beat getting a $50 software for spending 5-10minutes. In addtion, to that i even got a free music download.

i am an avid vistor of the above site, constantly looking for addtions to the list of free trialpay software.

here is another site, extremely professional "free with trialpay" http://www.freewithtrial.com/

unfortunately they only offer best 16 trialpay offers.
