Sorting thumbnails?

I am trying to change the sorting direction of thumbnail view. Is there a way to change the sorting mode?

press Ctrl+D, click on one of the headers then Ctrl+L again. ;)

i dont think this trick will work any more since new version, which always tries to sort by date when it refreshes.  i'll look into how hard it would be to make it an option.

for me the new version always sorts in alphabetical order, so much so that i've resorted to putting the date in the filename themselves.
