Try mentioning his progress on his school work. He will INSTANTLY leave the conversation without a word

He will INSTANTLY do a mouser (translation by Phil  :))
I'd say "He will INSTANTLY mouser you" - I don't think Phil's form is a verb? (but hey, I could be wrong, I suck at grammar :))

I noticed it doesn't exist as an Urbandictionary term yet! Fantastic site by the way, if you like words and/or have a sense of humour ;)

1.    Mouser
one who has relations with a person of the opposite sex, who is at least 6-12 inches shorter.
Casey became a mouser when she hooked up with Paul S the wrester.

2.    Mouser
Mouser(n) or (adj): Any person who kisses ass persistently.
On Police Academy 1 & 2, The ranking officer that always hated Mahoney; his side-kick Proctor was always kissing this Lt. ass...constantly.

Guy #1: Damn dude, why you always gotta be a mouser when Chris come to the hood?
Guy #2: Get off that shit man, I ain't mousin' him...dude be drivin' some tight rides yo! He's the man!
ass-kisser brown-nose brownie points kiss-up uncle-tom

Sent in the definitiion of the topic start, hopefully it will be accepted :P

You looked up the wrong word. You should have searched for "mousered"

DC member hollowlife1987 submitted it about a year ago.  :D

1. mousered

1.) When a mouser gets distracted and goes off to do something else.
That mouser got distracted by the ball of yawn and mousered us.

Well yes and no... the problem is that the definition of "mousered" applies to the actions of a "mouser", which is defined as either:

1.    Mouser
one who has relations with a person of the opposite sex, who is at least 6-12 inches shorter.
Casey became a mouser when she hooked up with Paul S the wrester.

or

2.    Mouser
Mouser(n) or (adj): Any person who kisses ass persistently.
On Police Academy 1 & 2, The ranking officer that always hated Mahoney; his side-kick Proctor was always kissing this Lt. ass...constantly.

Our mouser has never struck me as being a persistent kiss-ass and I have no idea about his personal life...

I vote for a definition change. It should be : When a person gets distracted and goes off to do something else.
John got distracted by the ball of yawn and mousered us.

It has nothing to do with a mouser (noun).

Armando is absolutely correct...but how do you go about submitting corrections? And the original also contains a typo..."yawn" should have been "yarn".

Now if you combined the real definition of "mouser" with the urban dictionary one for "mousered" (without the typo) it makes more sense. (as well as mouser's forum avatar)

n.

An animal, especially a cat, that catches mice.

Be advised, one of our recent new members to the IRC channel, during his first visit to the channel was in fact mousered. Below is an excerpt from the incident. Suspects have been brought in for questioning and Cody is being held without bond for obstruction of justice.

[11:40] <@Metshrine> joshua: So you don't end up mousered, read here for definition: https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=14426.0, i would post to the forums so he has record
[11:45] <dcjoshuaw> lol. Noted Metshrine. I've already posted to the forum, but Mouser himself didn't comment, so I figured he was away for the holidays or something, since he's usually pretty good with commenting on ppls threads. I was surprised he was around. I'll see whos around tomorrow else will post on the forum. Online help with this would be easier and faster I think
[11:46] <@Metshrine> Be warned, the mouser is a wiley creature and although he appears mild mannered on the web forum, he is far from that on IRC.

This is a classic example of a mouserer at work. Be warned, these creatures are nefarious and unrelenting in their mouserings and it is advised to avoid them at all costs.

you know its bad when you term in "real life" at work or something... and people look at you funny.  :P then you have be like "oh never mind"...

But I also would like to say that Mouser cannot sit still to save his life. That guy must have random though processes that in the middle of one thing his brain goes and sais " hey why don't I go and make some pizza" thus leaving the conversation....

I admit that I am also like that at times, but at least I will say, BBL or something.... ;D

Wonder how you code if you can't sit still? With my setup I could use voice recognition and walk around with a headset, but unless you have that and/or a wireless keyboard, its kind of difficult. Maybe that would explain the seemingly random releases/updates for his apps? :P

Is it? Do you think adding pressure to him, as you did in the YUMPS thread is helpful? Creative things take a certain degree of inspiration, it isn't like digging a ditch, where a bull-whip works best.

No worries, all in good fun -- just don't spam the forum too much.
And remember to check your mail for my bill.  Each insult on my person will be met with a $10 invoice.
