Father & Son team send iPhone into Outer Space!

Might just be me, but that would have been a much better story if it was the following:

Father and Son team gather all iPhone's and other Apple related products, launch them into space, then detonate their self-destruct function outside the earths atmosphere causing an epic iMeteor Shower.

Now...thats a story I could sink my teeth into :D

But yeah...they got some nice vids...pretty sure they could have acheived the same results using any high quality camera?

My favorite part of the video is when the dad asks the little boy if everything seems to be in order and the kid's expression and no-pause, authoritative answer...
