Need Screensaver Manager
« on: August 02, 2008, 06:03 PM »
Need some help to find a screensaver manager.  I have Win XP.  XP will not let you browse for screensavers that doesn't show up in the screensaver list.   I can run them manually and they work just fine.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Skrommel's 'TrayScreenSaver'

Is what I use. I don't have a screensaver set in the xp settings. Don't need one to be actively set all the time. I just use this because I turn off my monitors when I'm not using the computers.

Thanks for the suggestion, cmpm.  I'll give it a try, but reading about it, it was hard tell if you can set your own screensaver or you have to use the ones Win XP lists.  I tried one similar to this one, but you could only start an stop the scr.  Thanks again.

Tried the "TryScreensaver".  Nice little program and will list the screensavers, but you can't set the saver you want except manually.   It defaults to windows scr list.  Thanks again.
