MHTML support in Firefox
« on: July 18, 2008, 12:41 AM »
UnMHT - a Firefox addon that provides support for viewing or saving as MHT file. AMO tags it as experimental so you may have to register/login to download. However, this addon is also available from its web-site with separate versions for Opera/Safari users.

no need to do so

.mht == .eml

just open .mht in Thunderbird (Also Gecko layout engine like Firefox) or whatever email client.

the only problem I got (but easily fixed) : conflict with an IETab setting.

Delete the following Site filter from IETab.
/^file:\/\/\/.*\.(mht|mhtml)$/

(from the Known Problems at http://www.unmht.org/unmht/en_index.html)

Apart from that, works rather well! I can now display MHT in firefox instead of IE, which is great (... I don't use thunderbird...).
