Touch screen software for Windows XP?

Is it possible through some software to click the links and buttons on computer screen by touching with our fingers?

sri: you mean on a regular computer screen, on a computer screen that is touch-sensitive?

AFAIK, a regular computer screen can't identify the touch of fingers on the screen, so this is not possible to acomplish through software.
