It snowed on the mountains here last night. Here are some panoramas of it.

I would like to upload a panorama of the view outside here, but it is 12MB in size(and available here.) A screenshot of it is below.

12-18-13 screenshot2 .jpg

Actually that is a screenshot of a screenshot. The original is 3.74MB in size and kept timing out. Don't be deceived by the flat appearance of the view, this is a 220° panorama.

Just outside our windows, or of the local area as well?

More than a thumbnail, but still screen-sized.

We got some snow last night. It didn't last long, but I got some pictures and made this panorama of the view across the road. This is a version small enough to post here. Let me know if you want the full-resolution version.

Amazing.  I thought you'd converted it to monochrome until I scrolled about  two-thirds of the way across, and saw the red "hut."

Actually that's a cotton bale compressor.

Hence the quote marks - I thought it looked a bit technical for a hut  :)

Here's a couple of photos I took more or less just outside my home this evening. It's so nice to have the sun finally rising above the horizon again :)

Went outside this evening and made my first attempt at shooting the night sky. The photos were taken a few hundred meters from my home. Guess there's some advantages to living in a rural area, you don't have to walk very far to find somewhere completely dark :)

Simple view outside my work.

It's in a industry zone,  so nothing special.........
