MS Office Ultimate for only $59
« on: May 09, 2008, 09:18:23 PM »
For those of you who still use or want to use MS Office, here is a steal. Microsoft is selling their $680 MS Ultimate Office suite for only $59. Now this is an academic offer that is only for students. So, let's all put our heads together a figure out how www.donationcoder.com is actually a university.  :P

Quote
Back in September, we wrote about “The Ultimate Steal” from Microsoft because they were offering students the option to purchase Office Ultimate 2007 for just $59 bucks. Considering it retails for $680, this deal is a 91% discount. At the time they said the offer would end on April 30th, but as it turns out, they extended the offer a few days and now its set to end on May 16th, a week from today. If you’ve been considering purchasing Office 2007, there’s no better time than now to do it.

Also, only for US citizens, if I'm not mistaken... So maybe we could all put our heads together and also figure out how www.donationcoder.com could be some kind of US... colony ???? Branch ??? Extension ??? Friend ??? Na. forget it.

Still going in Australia too, $75 but only until 15th of this month.  And it says faculty and staff can get it too.  www.itsnotcheating.com.au/

UK one finished last week. Very good deal, but as a member of staff at a university I get it free anyway.

Also, only for US citizens,

- yes, U.S. citizens only.

In Denmark the asking price is more than $1300
- yes, that is more than thirteen hundred dollars!
[Edited: One company is even charging $1556!]
This makes me want to say a lot of things...
but I will hold on to my breath, and declare the obvious:
$59 is an  E X T R E M E L Y  good price!

Also Italy and France are still going.

Interesting actually that Spain and UK have finished - I thought under the single market rules it was illegal to sell things in one country in the EU but not in others?

I got Office 2007 Enterprise through the college I work for for $16 Cdn. Of course, I get laid off every April so I probably shouldn't be using it over the summer... but what the hey!

Seriously, this is why I would have jumped on the Ultimate version for students... and I missed my chance for both Canada and the UK offers

LOL - No.  Quite the opposite by the looks of many of your posts!  Though unlike a toady, you definitely knock them down where they fail to perform  You know, like media players <cough>AlSong</cough>
