hey everyone.
My current security set up is AVG free, spyware terminator and comodo. Good set up you will all agree. All freeware.

Thing is, I have the chance to get ZA full IS suite. It used to be a resource hog, but i understand it isnt anymore.
One thing really tempting me is the fact that it has the kaspersky AV engine, which is better than AVG. I know the firewall is good, but I've heard Comodo is better. As for the anti spyware, I have no idea which is better.

Resources are not really a problem since I got my new computer, so what should I do?

You may start out with supplying a link to "ZA"!  ;)
Why would i link people to the Zone Alarm website?
Surly I'm not the only one who calls it ZA?

Do you mean get it as in gonna cost you nothing, niks, nada, noppes, niente...? Then what's the problem? Get it, try it, see if it fits the bill... keep or dump. Simple.

I would just add that if you get it free, will you continue to get it free.  That is if the company stops using it after 12 months or counts how many licences they really need you may have to pay to keep using it, which could be a bit annoying if you like it but aren't in a position to pay.

I myself wouldn't take it, but that is just me, because I have had major problems with za software in the past (I have a post here on the forums  somewhere about how I had to move my hard drive to a second computer to fix it)

If you care about your computer, do not install the ZA suite. It's like playing Russian roulette with your operating system...

Yes, I've had bad experiences with it in the past and even when it worked, it was invasive to the point where it felt almost as bad as the things it's supposed to protect against.
