Maintain window size and position

<< < (2/2)

I don't know if it works for all programs, but if you position the program to the size and location you want it, hold down ctrl and push the exit button. Then the next time you run the program it should re open it in the same spot and teh same size as last time.

Thanks for the tip. I had tried this but there are a few programs that I use often that this does not apply. As mentioned in my OP I use Eraser and it always defaults to about 4x larger window size than what is needed. It would seem that it should be standard with a windows application that once you resize and close it, that it would reopen to that size and screen location. It works with Notepad, and many other apps, but not with Word; go figure! :-\

Just an update to let you know that WinWarden2 does the trick, has an extremely small footprint and consumes practically no resources.

Thanks to all who post here.  :)
