From wikipedia:
In February 2007 the Red Savina chili was displaced in Guinness World Records as the hottest chili in the world by the Naga Jolokia pepper. The Red Savina held the record from 1994 until 2006.[3]

Probably not - I think google likes this site because I have noticed forum messages in the index within hours on google.

Kinda fun putting forum user ids in google too - see where you pop up on the list ;)

Just for future reference Mouser, next time you get overheated by a chili, grab a slice of fresh tomato or lemon.  Even a pickle will work.  You want something acidic to cut the oils that cause the burn.  I was taught this by the prettiest little Mexican girl you would ever want to meet back when my babe magnet still functioned.
