Did I skim the posts too quickly or has nobody yet admitted to collecting pron?  Zaine & Stoic Joker did, though Zaine referred to it as erotica and Stoic Joker referred to it as "art". Glad you could stop by, though, and make it 'accessible' by the common man, though.  |

I love prawns, but can't see how you'd collect them? I mean, I like to eat them, so they don't last long. If I stuck them in a fish tank, how long would they live?

I shudder to think about what's going to be next I'm sure you'll think of sum thing. I've no doubt that I shall - that's what has me worried. It's going to multiply my posessions AND create a division in my household.  At least you'll have another product  With all the stuff I've collected over the years, what would be the difference? 2/ Watches (mainly Casio)
Not that huge a collection, but a few too many items - if that's grammatically correct...

I used to collect watches when I was in elementary school. The big question though is do you *wear* your collection? Yes, I wore up to 3 watches simultaneously on a regular basis. - Oshyan |

Collecting is a little too formal a term for what I do. It implies a conscious and rational plan for acquisition. Something I freely admit I lack. Some other people called themselves "accumulators" which I think adequately describes what I do. Things I regularly accumulate (and in no particular order): - Books
- Tarot Cards
- Books
- Art Glass Globes (when I can afford it)
- Books
- Sacred Scriptures - all faiths and belief systems (and yes, I've read 'em all too!)
- Books
- Musical Instruments
- Books
- Quotations
- Books
- Movie Scripts
- Oh! Did I mention books yet?
and trouble!  |

My dad collects watches. Every time I see him he has a different interesting looking watch on. If I am stuck for a gift to give him for some occasion, I just buy him another interesting watch. This is on my list of future possibilities. He also occasionally gives me interesting looking watches (he has been doing this since I was a kid). My 2 favorites: - One that looked like 5 watches connected together, only the one in the middle was a working watch. The rest had no hands, and in place where the watch face should be was a penny. I had the pennies replaced with silver coins, like he suggested. Was rather difficult to find a good looking coin that was the same size.
- One I had when I was a kid that had a clear plastic case that let you see all it's inner workings. I learned a lot from observing that watch, including how to easily fix a slightly over-wound watch (shake it, shake it, shake it!)
