Yet another focus-related feature

(1/2) > >>

lanux128:
i noticed the ""Hide on lost focus" thread but my request is slightly different. let's say i use Farr to do a web search query; Farr submits the request to the browser then hides. it's all ok but somehow the browser doesn't have the focus (even though it is the top-most window), i have to click on the browser to gain focus of it. so i'm wondering if can Farr do this by automagically and/or is it already available among the options?

mouser:
I will check this, but what FARR *should* be doing is hiding and then launching the url in browser, which should allow the browser to get focus.  But it's possible that I somehow changed this recently by accident.

herojoker:
Here the browser gets the focus, even when it's not a new window.

d4ni:
My browser gets focus, too.

nitrix-ud:
i mainly use Avant Browser which sometimes gets the focus (i have to say most of the time) but sometimes not
