Licencse question.
« on: March 28, 2008, 08:22 AM »
Hi :)

I found a great program here at DonationCode.com.

It's said to be free, right? I understand how the donation works and all that (i will donate a fee - but needs answer to my question first.).

If this program is to be used in a non-personal enviroment (work), how does that work with the donation-process and the license?
Please xplain :)

See here for description of what we expect from commercial business users:
https://www.donation...r.com/Help/entry/23/

To summarize from that page:
Our software is free/donationware for personal use.  If you are running your own small home business, we consider that the same thing (as fellow voyagers in the world of small home businesses we know how hard it can be).

But if you are running a real business with more than one or two non-family employees, we do expect you to purchase a Site/Business License for the program you will be using.

we made some changes yesterday to reduce spam and it looks like we broke the [email protected] address.
we'll have it fixed today but you can mail me ([email protected]) until then.
