Stopping MS Update from downloading Vista SP-1

Good Day,
somewhere, but i forgot where, i read something about a kind of patch that one can download and install, to Stop MS Update from automatic downloading Vista SP-1, in march. (i read so many problems etc. with that package and maybe it will affect some installed programs on my computer, e.g. The Print Shop/Broderbund).
Does anybody know how to handle this?
