you've probably looked at the other lalala human steps links but if not i think 'human sex' still stands out http://www.youtube.c...&feature=related i remember seeing this on the tv in 85 and couldn't believe what i was seeing. i'm not sure it will have the same impact today as modern dance has become a little more energetic anyway.

i'm not a fan of modern dance nor ballet BUT i think the more recent work from DV8 Physical Theater is incredible - they seem to be in a league of their own. earlier stuff is probably just for real dance fans as i found it tedious. check out this trailer for their 'Cost of Living' http://www.youtube.c.../watch?v=itDRZlc7d8U the full film has stuff i gaurantee you'll never have seen before.

the full version of 'Enter Achilles' is also pretty amazing. here's a snippet but it doesn't really give you the right idea http://www.youtube.c.../watch?v=17hNNfIkxQU

funny you mention them. I did something with one of their ex-members a while ago (he's now involved in the volcano theatre). Paul Davies. It was a fun, tough and hilarious (at the same time...) experience.

Wonderful post.  That dancer has incredibly beautiful legs and feet.  Captivating the entire way through.  Thanks.

Oh my! Mistaya Hemingway...classic ballet looks coupled with a modern, more athletic physique. And enough precision, style, and class to satisfy even the most demanding critic or avant coreographer.

Lovely dancer. She has one of the nicest lines I've ever seen.

I'm going to have to share this with the rest of my family. We're very big on ballet. We already have two professionals in our ranks - plus two jeune filles that are starting to show some real promise! (Fingers crossed.)

@Mouser - Thanks for sharing this.
