URLSnooper doesnt let me log onto the net.

(1/1)

URsnooper 2 didnt work for me, so I downloaded URLsnooper 1 an it worked for me! I managed to get a few streams, then i hung up, I restarte the PC, but it wont log onto the net, and terminated the connectiuoin giving error 718.

The connection is dialup and the WinPcap driver used is 3.0 beta

I uninstalled URLsnooper and voila! I could log onto the net again!

The Streaming Media Recording Forum has become stagnant, and strangely, my posts do net appear on the site. Instead of my post, "HTML not allowed" or some similar messages are poste, even if I dont use HTML in my post. In short, that forum can help me temporarily.

Presently I'm using UCF's URL Fetcher to get some real media. However, I'm in need of the following streams in 300KBPs asf format (whose URLs would be very easy to rip) to keep me busy downloading. It'd be good if you help me out with this instead of the urlsnooper problem, coz even with urlsnooper, i was to download only these streams: -

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2642927 (Breaking The Habit)

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2477664 (Numb)

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2409705 (would youmin if i aske for Madonna's catwalk?)

The Winster:
and may be one more ;), sorry to disturb but then, I wouldnt want to miss out on this one

The Streaming Media Recording Forum is not stagnant.

Most every posts (7 of 9) you made had to be deleted because the only thing they said isĀ  "HTML comments are not allowed".

The reason they said that is because you were putting HTML in your posts. If the forum software said you were putting HTML in your posts, then you were. That is just your operator error. I have posted there thousands of times and I don't have that problem and neither do the vast majority of those who post there.

Once in a while a new user will get one of those errors when posting the first time, but I have to say that you do hold the record for doing it the most times.

Did you try this?
IFILM video URL's using a manual method.

The Winster:
Thanks Veblin. I' try that out later this day.

And yes, I wasnt using HTML. NONE at all. But yes, I did used URLs with http:// but nothing more than that.

And I was saying the place has become stagnant, because most of the posts didnt bear any replies. This happens to any forums once in a month or so, so far as I know.
