I'd think (I resisted the temptation ;) ) that you can define that behaviour. You can in irfanView.

Opera does work with the regular mailto: links, the problem is with the image, from what i understand, it doesn't allow you to create an email with an attachment with that method.

Perry, I checked my default email client and it was set to Outlook. I changed it and it works like a champ!
