nDroid - app launcher
« on: January 27, 2008, 11:19 AM »
Here's a tool ive been using for a while right now and pretty much like its simplicity and speed. I found it over at the Autohotkey forum some time ago, former name is 320MPH.

Written in autohotkey.  :)

Basically nDroid is a blazing fast keyboard based application launcher. But not just that, it can open documents, play songs, open browser bookmarks, lookup web references, find torrents, do online searches, find your files .. plus a lot more.

Forget using your mouse to fiddle with Start Menus, Application Docks and Favorites Menus. There is no need to organise your files. Just fire up nDroid and it'll help you open them in a jiffy.

Quite impressive and rather simular to our beloved FARR. Once again shows that you can do quite a bit with AHK :)

Interesting  :)  looks like FARR's ugly smartarse brother.  ;)

I'll try it out on my PC at work which is hideously ugly already so it'll blend in nicely  :D

This is the launcher I use (well, a version bundled with activ'aid).
I'm pretty happy with it. Now it has its own site. It has improved heaps.

act'tivaid (sorry, missed the right spot for the ' ) is a bundle of great ahk applications and tricks.

bugtracker:
http://activaid.rumborak.de/

The installer is in German, but if you ignore it and keep going the final app is in English.
