Suggestion for design - Resize window from top on Windows

(1/5) > >>

relequestual:
I used Linux only for a few hours about 6 months ago, and now i have a thought.
I searched google for an app that enabled you to resize WINDOWS windows from the top of the window, like on Ubuntu.
Has anyone already made this app? or know where i can find one that does this? Im on Win XP

I would be happy to write a review for it on my review website.

Thanks

PS, DONATION CODER RULES! =D

There seems to be quite a few choices.
Although I've never tried any of them.
I've always manually resized and windows remembers.
But I can see how it would be handy if it was a light weight application.

Here's what I found in a search.
Maybe someone has tried some of these.

I'm sorry, but i don't understand what you mean by "resize window from top"...

i'm curious too, how is it done? do you mean the titlebar. i couldn't find anything at Ubuntu's website except this.

PhilB66:
Check out MoveResize plugin for Volumouse (Requires Volumouse).

BTW, to resize an active window (works on WinXP and probably on earlier Windows versions):

1. Click on the active window and press Alt + Spacebar
2. Press S
3. Press the arrow key that corresponds with the side of the window you want to change.
4. Press Enter when done resizing
