I am looking for a good medical link.  I do not need those that proliferate the Internet, but one that real doctors use in treating patients.

There's nothing wrong  with doing research about medical conditions, but doctors are seeing way too many people coming in waving printouts of their Internet "diagnosis".  They "know" exactly what's wrong with them, plus they demand prescriptions for specific drugs they saw in TV ads.   :(

I take the position that doctors are no better than me or anyone else.  It is true that they do have extensive training and perhaps experience, but I maintain that I am responsible for my well-being, not the doctor.  I must admit that I have been put off by many doctors of late because they wave off my input in arrogance as if they were gods and I am but a mere mortal. >:(

I's not like the patient doesn't have a vested interest in the subject.  ;)
