I think that one of the reason why it is picking up is because it is multifunctional. Also, instead of tying them to necklace straps or keeping them in the pocket at least they can now display it. I wish to have one but as you've said they are currently out of stock.

This isn't new technology. This information is two years old. And the description of how it works is right there in the first post. It says that the bracelet vibrates to let you know a call is incoming.
