Hi Mouser,

Can you please add a delay of some form on node types of Folders (a node type that shows the contents of a folder)?

Why you may ask?  Well I have number of nodes that have complex sub fodlers with lots of files.  I have to pass over the firsy node to get to say the third node and LaunchBar Commander pauses to extract the contents of each folder node and this can take up to 10 seconds on some of my folders.

I understand what you are saying..
I will add a longer delay in the auto-opening of file menus, or maybe even just disable auto-opening-on-hover for file menus, so you have to click before file menus open.

For me the click would best as then I control the event.

I understand the request but for tiny menus this might be annoying to wait until the items appear.
Personally I like the absence of a delay very much which could change when I go using bigger menus.

So maybe a configuration option for each menu node would be a good idea.
( ) Flyout-delay in ms: ______
( ) Click to fly out

That way we'd have configurable Flyout-times (0ms would be "no delay") and the click as alternative.

That seems like a sensible solution to me. Have either have an option of 0ms for instant access or a higher value to delay it.
