This is meant to be a handy online web application that will allow you to estimate the value of your money (United States Currency only right now) in a coin jar.

The fun comes when you want to cash them in. They're already sorted, as you go and wrapped.

This thing doesn't actually count coins though.

There are ones that do count coins, but if the battery dies, you lose your running total.

Is your image an EZ-Count? Counting isn't necessary any more because even though my bank likes me they don't trust me and they recount/rewrap.
I suppose the Money Wrapper is a newer version of the Money Mill? They appear to look and work the same way.

A possible rename would be great. This would make the Money Mill a collectors item in about 50 years.

Who cares if the bank doesn't trust you and recounts/rewraps...they aren't going to keep a running total for you, of all change cashed in over the course of time, are they? A coin bank like this would, even after you have cashed them in or spent them (as long as the battery doesn't die)

"Who cares." Guess it depends on ones point of view? To each their own.
If I really cared about such things as running totals... I have bank eStatements.

Well, I don't spend my change. I always throw it in a jar. Two jars, in fact...one for silver and one for pennies. The penny jar fills up, but despite never spending my change, the silver jar never does...my husband spends it on me (bus fare, laundry, whatever he needs change for). So, I will never know at the end of the year, just how much I have thrown in there.

Yes, that would be less painful and wouldn't invite pay-back.

If you have been collecting all your pennies for a while, say 30 years, you may have some worth more than a penny.
Like if you have any that have this on the back.

Don't clean em, if you find some, cause the value drops a lot if they're cleaned.

There were still some of these floating around in the '90s.
