Bug: Memory error on latest version

(1/1)

howardb:
I ran find and run robot on windows 98  with 256 ram and about 800Mhz processor. On the latest version I got the following memory fault often when I attempted to close the program or sporadically at other times:

FINDANDRUNROBOT caused a general protection fault
in module USER.EXE at 0004:00005d53.

I switched to the last stable version, 13.02 and no longer got this message.

mouser:
ouch.. hmm i wonder what this is.. if its a win98 issue.
do you get it every time you close FARR v2 on windows 98?
I will try to reproduce on a windows 98 machine.

f0dder:
Ugh, user.exe and not ever user32.exe? Nasty. Perhaps handle leaking, double-freeing of some resource, or a problem with an API parameter, those would be my initial guesses to get a crash there.
