Back to the topic: After a few days using the XsX Alphablended Cursors
I realized that I'm missing the shadow under the cursors
. The "Enable pointer shadow" option does nothing, I don't know why. Any idea?
However, I managed to add the shadows to the individual cursor files and at least for me they are visually more distinctive on the screen:
The hardest part was to find an application capable of editing or keeping the cursor hot spot. IcoFX
, which is otherwise an excellent application, lacks this feature, but RealWorld Cursor Editor
can do this, and much more, and it's freeware.
