NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month 2007

nosh:
How about a zero-distraction editor like Dark Room (a Writeroom clone), for a start?

I personally think it makes a lot more sense to boot into DOS and start one of the bygone era editors. There was a geeky charm to those babies the MS Word just can't replicate. Switch off your cellphone (Good luck!) get those phones off the hook and you're all set!

Armando:
We should start a thread on novel-writing-helper-software.  I know there is some.
And maybe someone on the site could consider writing a little program to help in some way as part of this challenge we are doing in november.

TomColvin has a great blog covering some of these specialized software. A good place to start : Becoming a Writer Seriously
