Inspired by Lifehacker..

http://www.lifehacker.com/

is our site of the week this week/month - it's kind of fun place to get esoteric tips on spending time wisely.  combines software tips with life tips.

Inspired by lifehacker I thought maybe we could add non-software related tips in this section as long as it's kind of slow in here.
Just silly things that we have each discovered to make life a little more fun :)

i'll start by posting my 3 favorite drinks:

1) black tea with chocolate milk
i make a big batch of like 5x sweeter than normal chocolate milk using dried milk with ovaltine and irish cappucino mix and keep it in a container in the refrigerator; then when i make my normal black tea, i add a half an inch of it or so.  very delicious.

2) new york egg cream
learned this one from my father.  it's just seltzer (sparkling water) with that same chocolate milk mixture above in it.

3) to help your heart:
a shot of half whiskey and half sake.
beginners should start out with a bit more sake and a bit less whiskey :)

Hot cocoa and whisky ... especially when your out camping and its cold (but you can always use your imagination at home).

Recipe:

2 heaped spoons of Cocoa Powder (I love bitter Dark Chocolate taste - use 1 spoon if you like it blander)

A good slug of Scotch (cheap stuff is fine - no point in ruining a good single malt)

Mix to a smooth paste.

Add boiling water stirring all the time

Add milk and sugar to taste ...

Don't blame me when you don't get any work done afterwards ...
