[Windows XP] Is there a way to apply folder views to all sub-folders?

Probably a simple thing, but I haven't found it yet...

Let's say I set up a folder to display as "Tiles" sorted by "Name".  If I drill down into a sub-folder, however, THAT folder still displays things as it always has.

How can I apply the current folder view to all child folders as well?

Windows offers a "use the current folder's view as the default" but that applies to ALL folders everywhere on the system.  No want.

Any ideas?

Actually, i was just joking, XYplorer doesn't do exactly what ralph is asking for.
What it allows is for you to have a different view per tab.
Dopus probably can do that, i'm sure there isn't much it can't do

I imagine whatever magical hoochie does this would have to traverse the folder tree and modify each folder's entry in the registry.

And while I recognize there are full replacements for Explorer and other wonderful swiss-army Explorer enhancements, I'd like to avoid adding a bunch of crap I'll never use just for the one feature I want.

Maybe there IS no easy way to do this.  Coding snack?
