There is. Unfortunately, if you read all the posts in that thread, nobody can get it to work.

I noticed on the Evernote blog that people can invite friends into the evernote beta, does anyone have any invites spare ?

On the Evernote web page you can read "Evernote Wants You" and "If you would like to receive an invitation to the beta, please click here", and similar stuff. I tried to register twice, but nobody replied, not even an automated response. Apparently, they don't want me, at least... Try it and let us know.
