Has customizable tooltips, icons, & column handlers:

Edit your mp3 tags from the properties context menu
using a powerful tag editor:

There is a simlar tool here: www.audioshell.com that supports
other audio formats in addition to mp3. There is no icon support and
the editor is no where near as brilliant as in mp3ext. Nor do the tooltips
show stereo mode. If you want the tooltips for other formats from
Audioshell but the mp3 tooltips from MP3ext, install Audioshell first and then MP3ext.

I hope you enjoy them if you use MP3ext! :D

Nice review and screenshots. I've used mp3ext many moons ago. I don't think they had the bitrate icon feature in it then.

Hirudin:
This used to be one of my first installs after a format (whew, back on Win98...). Very cool program, the MP3 tab in the properties is a very usefull add on also.

I haven't installed it in a while though, I'm not sure why. Maybe because I've started getting full albums instead of individual files, and the importance of the bitrate has been replaced with having every track.
