I worked someplace that had workrave installed.  It was a small company.

Some alternatives. I do not know the volume is a thing)

I also saw https://www.eye-saver.net/

I have used neither of the alternatives above

Find And Run Robot / Re: where are scoring rules stored?

In my FARR installation there are scoring rules stored in
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot\FindAndRunRobot.ini
in the sections [HeuristicScoring] [PatternScoring] and [SearchFolders]

The .alias files also contain per alias scores at
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot\AliasGroups\MyCustom\myaliases.alias
and possible other nearby .alias files

Find And Run Robot / where are scoring rules stored?
« Last post by kireta on March 05, 2024, 08:24 AM »
Hello, I can't seem to find where scoring rules are stored.

FARR crashes on my laptop from time to time (related to Lenovo issues) and I have to restore settings.

The scoring rules do not seem to be in this folder:

C:\Users\Username\Documents\DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot

it was a huge 20MB file

That's mostly the content for demonstrating the exercises you could do during the breaks. The software is open source, so you can inspect what it's actually doing, and what's included. :tellme:

https://workrave.org/

requirement 1) can be achieved by the (extended) volume mixer of Windows 10 and later.

I think I came across this but it was a huge 20MB file just for a timer, will try it though, thanks.

Have you considered a watch or kitchen timer? Or the built-in clock/alarms app in Windows or your phone?

Thanks but these violate requirement 2)

Thanks, I tried that but for some reason it does not work for me (HP laptop).

General Software Discussion / Any Break Reminder freeware?

Hello

Do you know any Break Reminder freeware to notify me to take breaks from screen?

I am looking for some features like:
1) independent notification volume that will be audible even if my laptop has zero audio volume
2) identify idle time and exclude it from the break time calculator

Bonus tip if you are not already aware: Breaks From Sitting: Now we know how often and how long!
https://qor360.com/b...w-often-and-how-long

Thanks!
