Don't want to make your list of options too long, but date modified is quite useful - eg to see files you've maybe photoshopped lately.

Nice and useful program! Would it be possible to add option to display image size which is quite useful to some?
Btw, on my laptop, I get:
Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from
starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
when running the installer.

No worries. But because I'm curious...
Isn't it possible to have the complete html tags/code in the word doc, so when the merge is done, you have complete web pages?
 I saw a macro (maybe not necessary in late versions of word) to produce discrete merged documents.

 I have no idea whether a merged doc can be rtf or txt or must be in doc/docx format. If only docx, each individual doc would have to be converted to txt then html or else straight to html. If the merged output could be txt, wouldn't just an extension rename to html do the trick if the original doc "template" contained all necessary html code and tags?

I have no immediate use for your process, but like so many other things I read, it's just interesting for its own sake

Last time I used mail merge(same as you - teaching, a lifetime ago), it produced one long doc. Maybe Office now has the ability to split the doc - ideal for discrete web pages.
Alternative would be to output the mail merge to txt/rtf and use a doc splitting app (eg https://www.gdgsoft.com/gsplit/ text file splitter). Auto naming the individual files plus handling the images might be the biggest problems - probably both surmountable relatively easily

Have to agree, in part, with App103.
I thought Surfulater was excellent for my needs, way back. For various reasons, stopped using it but last 6 months, have felt like using it again. Seems it would be pointless to try tho, sadly.

Well, I can't.

That sounds fine, but how about all the other softwares with subscriptions also costing a coffee (or more) each? Since I retired from the work force, with its attendant severe drop in disposable income, I can't afford several coffees/month. I'm stretched with the photoshop cc subscription, and won't drop those coffees for a Clibu coffee, attractive as Clibu sounds.

Wish I could afford the Kindle Unlimited and various music subscriptions too, all who present variations on the "only a cup of coffee" theme.

As someone with a slight malicious streak and who is soon to come into possession of a brand new baby,
I'm looking forward to repaying all those friends who
- talked incessantly about their baby
-  forced me to to look at photos without end of the aforementioned
- forced me to look at holiday happy snaps, also without end, which on the bright side, at least made me contemplate orders of infinity
- made me listen to their guitar playing.
The number of baby photos I'll be posting will be wondrous to behold. Contemplation of the boredom I'm intending to inflict gives me a warm inner glow.

Apart from the cc hurdle, in this case (myUS), as with most (maybe all) of these sort of companies, suppliers can discriminate between residential and commercial addresses.
myUS in fact has a list on their website of companies known not to allow trans-shipping.
In the hammock case, the reasons for only selling to limited markets were fraud and product support.
I'm not going to actively pursue this anymore - put it on my KIV list.

Old debate.
From my POV:
1. Quicker than using my bivvie sized tent - 2 lashings and finished.
2. No bending
3. Hands stay clean - no grovelling in the dirt
4. Takes up much less space than swag
5. No rolling up hassle
6. MORE places to camp
 - avoid the "nice spot but ground's too rocky/uneven/sloped" problem
 - in NPs, camp in spots not popular because of slope - eg if forced to camp in "shared", designated camp grounds
7. No worries about floor staying dry
Minuses
1. Can't spread gear around it like in a tent
2. Too much adrenalin if there's much lightning

BTW, I don't need trees. Car can be one tree, I've a pole than can act as 2nd tree. And having said all that, I've 3 other tents I'll never chuck out!

Thanks for the offer 4WD...very kind of you. EU store sold out atm. I'll wait and see what gives, but my camping window of opportunity will be closing soon. Wanted to get this hammock before then.
I've always been a small (bivvie) tent  person, tried a swag but it seemed to take a lot of car space. Then I bought a Hennessy hammock. Like it a lot, but this one I'm now looking at seems it could be even better.
Apart from that, I'm trying to go as minimalist as possible.
You look very well set up indeed!
Edit: if I were in a position to take you up on your offer, I'd for sure invite you to try it out. You might just get converted.

 Amazon (US) shows the item, but as you say, reports it as unavailable, no knowledge of when available. Amazon UK doesn't list the item.

BTW, if I search for   "Amok Draumr 3.0 Flat Lay Camping Hammock with Tarp, Bug net and Suspension kit", on Amazon (US) then I get:
"Showing results using fewer words
No results for Amok Draumr 3.0 Flat Lay Camping Hammock with Tarp, Bug net and Suspension kit.", along with non-relevant hammocks.

Amok have set up outlets for various Northern hemisphere countries. Most are out of stock, the Canadian site only allows Canadian addresses in the order page.

The item is a Draumr camping hammock, viewable at Amok's website
Rather radical design - sleeping position is at 90 degrees to the ridgeline. A rather odd arrangement from an engineering perspective, but it's getting excellent reviews.

FWIW, a rep from Amok emailed me to explain:
"Unfortunately we will not allow shipping to freight forwarding companies. I am truly sorry but we need a residential address in the US.
​There are several reasons for this, but one is that we are not able to offer customer service worldwide. Secondly, there has been a lot of fraud attempts, from allowing orders trough freight forwarders. Thus we have chosen to run a strict line when it comes to such orders."

I'm wanting to purchase a hammock for camping here in Australia, but have been told by the USA online store that they will ONLY ship to USA RESIDENTIAL addresses.
Neither to Au addresses, nor to "USA warehouse addresses" as used by trans-shipping companies.
Anyone have any ideas of how to get around this?
 An Amok Draumr hammock for anyone curious.

Why not use a screen corral type program (eg Mouser's) and just have a quite thin vertical piece of screen reserved for your notification window/firefox window?
Pixel change notifier doesn't require the monitored window to have focus.

I purchased an amazfit bip about 5 months ago, after seeing it mentioned by, I think, 4WD.
Use it with an android phone (galaxy S8). I used to use a samsung gear watch - that now sits in a drawer, because I got sick of needing to charge it so frequently.
 I wanted it to map tracks, water tanks, gates on a sheep station. Too old/lazy/disinterested to take note of the fitness capabilities of the watch.
I'm very happy with it:
1. battery matches the claims made. I don't even think about charging it, until every now and again, I think "strewth, been a while since charging". Typically, I've still got >30% battery remaining.
2. GPS accuracy has been excellent. I've compared tracks from the watch and a dedicated gps tracking device and they closely agree. Does require a 3rd party app to be able to extract the route tho.
   I can't say whether that implies the fitness "stuff" is therefore accurate or not.... maybe it does for cycling, but not walking.
3. Notifications work fine.
4. Screen viewability in the sun is good.
5. Cost was great.

Negatives
1. For MY use, I need a 3rd party app. From memory, about $3
2. extracting route info sometimes a bit fiddly. If I used it daily, this would disappear, but as it is, I do this "mapping"  on an irregular basis.

Idea from a non-programmer, based on 7zip's ability to list contents of (at least) zip files using CLI...
1. AHK calls 7zip and gets archive contents written to a temp text file (maybe AHK can read 7zip output on the fly, I don't know)
2. AHK parses text file and takes required action


Here's a batch file I came across which caught my eye

Thanks for getting back to me.
In the import files list in my screenshot, you can see several mp3 files I've imported. Each is for either one word or a short phrase.
To get to the state you see in the screenshot, I:
1. Imported the media files
2. Typed a native phrase
3. Typed a Foreign phrase
4. Highlighted  "vietnamese_and_you.mp3 in the import media list
5. Clicked "Add To List.

I was expecting to see info for "Track" and "File" filled in, in the relevant columns after step 5.
I was expecting that I'd be able to click on the arrowhead to the left of the "and you" line in the list and the mp3 would play after step 5.

Maybe your program doesn't work like this, I don't know and was asking.

Hi Stephen, just started trying out your program - looking interesting!
Rather than have long audio file(s), I have very short individual audio files for single words and phrases. I imported about 20 or so files.
I'm having difficulty getting the audio set up ... the only way I seem to be able to get the name of the audio file into the list under "File" is by typing it, and typing the time as 00:00. This can't be right because having done that, if I click on the what looks like a play button at left of the list, nothing happens.

Would it be possible to be able to highlight a media file from the "import media" list and get it entered into the "main" list, with the track time (which I assume is the start time, not duration) set to 00:00 automatically...sort of drag and drop?

Maybe this stuffs up the direction in which you're trying to proceed, in which case, no problem. My usage is as a vocab learner, with emphasis on the sound of individual words (Vietnamese - getting tones right critical)

Thanks for good ideas. My REAL password actually involves part of a friend's car number plate, which she USED to own (how paranoid is that?)
 What's now making my head spin tho, is that without a priori knowledge, isn't my passPHRASE actually a passWORD? (I hear Baynes calling). I see on various sites, entropy levels are different.
And Mouser, without knowing brute force passphrase cracking methodology, would having the mis-spelling early in the "pass-phrase" improve things?
This is all academic really but I'm interested - I've taken all the suggestions onboard thanks.

Also, hope it won't engender the controversy my last question caused!!
Q: Is "Remember to pay gas Aug 14" a good, as in secure, password? I know it's good as in useability because I can hide it in plain sight (eg google calendar)
