PM sent. I hope the explanation was not too vague. Cheers.

If you want I can PM the archive
Thanks, Shades, but that's not needed. I should be able to create a wrapper working with the latest official release. Cheers.

Much appreciated, Ath. I was already starting to feel desperate; no response  undecided ... thinking to maybe change my username to kalos or Contro  tongue. Anyways, NANY 2014 entry sounds awesome. I will elaborate on the request after the weekend. Thanks.

Should I move this to Coding Snacks?
7  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Resident search inside eml files and thoses from Thunderbird on: September 13, 2013, 08:46:04 PM
Yes, 4wd, I will make a wrapper to delete the registry keys / folder after exit. Many thanks.

Anyone knows a keyword search tool to batch apply highlighting / annotations to pdf / excel / doc / html. Thanks.

Perhaps here: MailStore Home Portable 8.1.0.9075

Except the interface seems to be in Japanese.

Fixed, just delete all the language folders in MailStoreHomePortable\Application, (ie. all folders except Firebird_x86).
Thank you for the link, 4wd. I could not find any information about license/distribution of this package. Not sure it's legal. This paf version creates a folder in \user\all\firebird and I also found some entries in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Deepinvent\MailStore\Client Settings
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Deepinvent\MailStore

Yeahhhh
 embarassed
At the present moment i have more GB of space in a data disk with programs in portable mode than in the system disk.
In the past was very useful for me because of my multiple startup, but now with the limitation of the windows 7 license.....
Of course we have the virtual machines under xp.
 tellme
Que?

MailStoreHomePortable saves some settings to the registry plus other stuff in AppData = not portable.

@Shades
Where can I get the paf version from?

That does not render the application portable.
12  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Resident search inside eml files and thoses from Thunderbird on: September 10, 2013, 11:45:08 PM
(and available in portable format on www.portableapps.com).
Link please.

Also took advantage. You must have a lot of space by now.
Maybe just share it with ajfudge... http://www.donationcoder....35069.msg327395#msg327395

I wish I had never got Screen Shot Captor - I'm hooked on it so bad that I am now unable to function on a PC without first installing Screen Shot Captor.
It's not FREEWARE - it's ADDICTIONWARE!  Don't touch it!
You have got the wrong Screenshot Captor, dude. Wink

My first line of defense in recovering harddisk space on a Windows XP system

Yeah, Bleachbit does a good job of rooting out all those folders and all the other cruft that accumulates over time.  I've recovered gigabytes on the first run.

I went to that website and looked at the features and didn't see anything about removing superseded Windows Update files and folders.
It's there.

You should have it. That's where the settings are stored.
On win7-64 it is at user\current\AppData\Local\RegaLink\RegaLink.exe_Url_wtefddecuu3bvefai21jfppcics1clnb\1.0.0.0\user.config

Is there anything (feature wise) you want adding Phil?
Wasn't able to test the latest creation yet, but I plan to use RegaLink to save custom queries and send to a search engine.

You will also notice I got rid of the "Pending" and "Completed" graphics in this version.  I decided I hated them.
Thank you. That was an eyesore.
