General Software Discussion / Re: Freeware = CRAP!

I wish I had never got Screen Shot Captor - I'm hooked on it so bad that I am now unable to function on a PC without first installing Screen Shot Captor.
It's not FREEWARE - it's ADDICTIONWARE!  Don't touch it!
You have got the wrong Screenshot Captor, dude. ;)

General Software Discussion / Re: Windows Updates

My first line of defense in recovering harddisk space on a Windows XP system

Yeah, Bleachbit does a good job of rooting out all those folders and all the other cruft that accumulates over time.  I've recovered gigabytes on the first run.

I went to that website and looked at the features and didn't see anything about removing superseded Windows Update files and folders.
It's there.

You should have it. That's where the settings are stored.
On win7-64 it is at user\current\AppData\Local\RegaLink\RegaLink.exe_Url_wtefddecuu3bvefai21jfppcics1clnb\1.0.0.0\user.config

Delete the folder that contains the executable and text list.

Is there anything (feature wise) you want adding Phil?
-Stephen66515 (April 03, 2013, 08:10 PM)
Wasn't able to test the latest creation yet, but I plan to use RegaLink to save custom queries and send to a search engine.

You will also notice I got rid of the "Pending" and "Completed" graphics in this version.  I decided I hated them.

Thank you. That was an eyesore.

Please change search engine to https://encrypted.google.com/ and if possible add support for ddg.

Thanks

How about a different approach? Write messages on your desktop... http://www.pointofix.de/download.php allows you to save your messages too (via TPFC)

RBTray at portableapps.com will handle minimize to tray (freeware). Pretty lightweight, portable and no UI to speak of.
Why is the portableapps wrapper needed?

RBTray is available at http://sourceforge.n...ay/files/rbtray/4.3/

32-bit/64-bit versions included in the ZIP package.

Problem solved. It only crashes when using a converted images to ICO as the replacement icon. Otherwise, it seems to work just fine. I used QIcon Changer before to do this.

users of Internet Explorer should jump ship for the next few days as all versions of the browser are at risk of malware attacks.

Or just add IE to EMET.

For those intrigued by EMET, read http://krebsonsecuri...ead-this/#more-16876 (the comments too)

The mind boggles at the many creative uses of the word. If by any chance you think I've missed any, please fucking let me know.

How can anyone be offended when you say "FUCK"?

Use it frequently in your daily speech, you will be proud and it will add to your fucking prestige and stature.

Why not say "FUCK YOU !" to someone today.
