DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / Recycle Bin Configurator

I just read the article about the python command line tool Autotrash (written by Ronan on Ghacks, here is the homepage of the script.) which as the name implies automatically deletes the trash based on criteria like remaining disk space, deletion date and regular expressions. I tried to find a Windows program that would offer a similar functionality but could not find one. What I'm looking for is a program that would automatically deleted the trash based on rules that the user can define. A rule could be set to delete all files in the recycle bin that have been there for more than a week, or delete all files if the disk space gets to low or delete files that are not of the type doc or text. It would be great if the program could be scheduled in the Windows Task Manager so that it could be run on a regular basis. Maybe such a program exists, if it does I would love to hear about it.

No one ever agrees on top lists as it mostly comes down to personal likes and dislikes. I'd probably include a few of the games mentioned in my toplist but there are way to many games that will probably not make it into the toplists of the majority. Then some games are missing that are universally considered to be legendary, i.e. Warcraft 2 (or 3), Starcraft, Day of The Tentacle, Monkey Island, Kotor, Dark Forces II and so on And I really hate sites that divide their articles into little snippets to increase their pageviews.

Hej all, it's a joint project that was first supposed to become a feed only but we decided to create a website based on that. It basically offers a feed that gets updated whenever a software that has been reviewed at one of the sites gets updated. Most of it is automated but some has to be done by hand, for example adding new applications to the list. Rarst did all of the coding and stuff and we (that's Samer of Freewaregenius and me) did help shape the functionality and such. It is a service to our readers that get the benefit of being informed when a good software has been updated with the option to read up on it at one of our sites. It's currently not clear where we go from here. Possibilities are to include more blogs and an archive among other possibilities. What we need right now is user input. If you got anything to add let us know. Good things, bad things, we like to listen And if you have any questions let us know as well. thanks again for the opportunity Mouser and everyone at Donation Coder

Guys it is actually not as bad as it sounds, the content stealing I mean. At least if they have the decency to link back to my website. If they do not I usually report them to Google Adsense and every other advertiser that they have. Most of these sites do not have means of contacting the owner. Telephone Issues are linking back to my site with the right keyword, that's nice. Technology Blog on the other hand is not.

40hz no offense taken, just wanted to correct the issue I don't think that we will get those letters anytime soon. It could happen but Microsoft did not seem to take an aggressive stance on news sites in the past and I doubt they will change that. It's free publicity for them. It would be a different story if we would have registered Windows7.com or some other premium domain name that Microsoft needs for promotion.
