Although I'm developing a much more user-friendly GUI version of this software, I'm making available a Windows cmdline app that helps proofreaders track projects' project, customer transactions, and total words proofed, over time. Started with QBasic, then some Pascal in college. Much later, Visual Basic 6.0. Later still, C#. Though I've dabbled with PHP and AutoIt, my go-to language is C#. My current project is a command-line utility that helps me track the progress of my paid proofreading projects.

Yes, it's consistent.

Yes, it is a nice laptop. Quad-core and runs up to 2.8 GHz.

I have a HP Pavilion 17-g121wm laptop that says it's in Airplane mode but in actuality wireless is connected to internet. I can't get Airplane mode to actually work. The following screenshot shows Airplane mode ON and Wireless greyed out, yet I am connected the internet and posting this. In Settings, I try to toggle the Airplane mode toggle without success. It's stuck in the ON position. Again, though, the PC is not truly in airplane mode. I'm connected. I tried uninstalling my network adapter and rebooting. That didn't fix the problem. Tried an HP driver for my fn-F12 airplane key. No dice.

I'm looking for a black and white printer for a daughter. She's a college student with a chromebook. I want either direct usb connection or bluetooth, the simpler the better. So she can just connect, print her college papers, and be done. Needs to be something she can carry in the back seat of her car.

It could be JSP, instead. Tom doesn't care as long as he gets the relational DBs set up and the logic of his idea translated into code.

Announce Your Software/Service/Product / Working on a game for N.A.N.Y. 2017

I'm coding a text adventure using Ren'py, "Scions of Kel-Tek", and hoping to have it suitably ready for N.A.N.Y. 2017.

It takes from genres of RPG, visual novel, and CYOA books, and uses images and sounds as well. Ren'py is a pleasure to script in, and the developer frequently updates the software.
