@KodeZwerg: I certainly could handle your proposal, with some effort. But before I try: Is it very likely to work at least? Of course, in the end nobody knows. I do not demand a guarantee. I surely got the latest Versions of Windows and Captor.
Another day, another try at hearing the meanwhile familiar >click< when hitting [PrtScr] after a reboot. Without opening captor at first. Can´t get it to work. No way: I open Captor by clicking on the big icon on the desktop. Captor resides minimized in the notification area. Left click on the upwards arrow: Right click on the small captor icon. Left click preferences, ensure that "start with windows" is on. Repeat this procedure several times. Don´t know how often. But then after the n-th attempt, the left click on preferences makes the captor window to vanish. No matter. It´s OK. "start with windows" is on anyway, I presume. Open and run captor as admin: Allow changes: Yes: >Edit >Preferences "start with windows" is still on: [Apply] [Accept] [Close]: Check Autostart in Task-Manager: ScreenshotCaptor is activated. Reboot: [...]: No >click<: No Icon in the notifcation area. Disappointed. Do I expect too much?
Vielen Dank nochmal. Many thanks to all of you.
I found that. Thx. But I can´t find what is shown in ScreenshotCaptor Help. A view with a title bar (white letters on blue background: "Screenshot Captor Options") as here. Screenshot of ScreenshotCaptor Help, not of ScreenshotCaptor.
Very probably not. I didn´t try actually. I converted a sound (plop.mp3) of my taste to wav, renamed "capturesound_c.wav" to capturesound_c-old.wav and renamed "plop.mp3" to "capturesound_c.wav". Good enough. How about combining AutomaticScreenshotter and Screenshot Captor into one? Like" AMSC"?
One small hint: the " _as" at the end of a filename (01-07-03-21 _as.png) was confusing me for a while. Also the miniature icon was hard to find at first and it is still a bit difficult to reach by the mouse, as i´m playing GTA online races and have very little time to adjust automaticscreenshotter while racing. I´d prefer a big icon like the ordinary office applications. A handful of sounds to chose from would be a fancy feature. Also a simple stop indicator like "--------------------------" in the target directory was great when lots of files have been collected. ... Thanks for your patience.
I cannot find a version number, but automaticscreenshotter (a shorter name would be an improvement too) was installed at June 11,2018 MEZ, central european time). I am impressed by the fact of finding a real life person answering which caused me to make a second however small donation. I´m going to give screenshot captor a go.
I see automaticscreenshotter when using alt+tab, it stays always in the foreground. But no reaction to >help when clicked after starting the program from its icon on the desktop. When chosing >about from the miniature icon in the task bar nothing happens. Sticky Notes is running although. And I can´t use Snipping Tool together with automaticscreenshotter, it seems.
