Living Room / Re: Is Your Son a Computer Hacker?
« on: June 09, 2006, 11:42 AM »
I read that could not believe how dumb the guy was that wrote it. >:(
I have a AMD64 Althon so I must be a hacker?.

I have been on the net around 12 years now,I know a few programmers and a few hackers, and let me tell you if it was not for those teenage and older hackers we would not know of the "Swiss-Cheese" of a OS we have called Windows. It has more holes than Microsoft will ever admit.

By the way I am no hacker.
I am more of a "Seeker" I look for information on the net.

And i know allot of you maybe crazy about your P3's and P4's but I have had enough of P3's and P4's to last me a life time.
I am a AMD kind of guy, It allows me graphically to do what i want, without yelling (
Star Trek "Quote"
) Scotty, I need more Power.
I have plenty.

The guy that wrote that article, is just not accepting reality.
Too bad I can not contact him, I would tell him allot more.

Anyway I say what I think and what I believe, I will not lie to you, because If I am honest I have nothing to remember but the truth!.

I do not want it calling or telling M$ nothing.
Without my direct permission.
That is my right!.

That is your Right as well. If you want them snooping on your PC that is your right.

And as my Right, I do not want them snooping.Period

I also have Opera but do not like that way it saves bookmarks. If you go into manage you will see save as html. Then you can save as a html doc

It is hard to find things I need a search engine to search it.
My girlfriend created a database for me, and if I can quit surfing long enough to add the links.
But I need a app that can sort the good url's, bad url's (people send me links too some are xxx) I do not want them in the db. And search them for me. I designed a program several years ago but had no takes on developing it.

I create new favorites/bookmarks every so often, then dump my findings into a 'dump.' A central collection, and go back and sort them into different categories.
Which is what I am going to have do soon, my lastest is getting to large to manage.

Oh my girlfriend said use "Google Desktop" it takes google Destop 3 or 4 hours to search my whole collection.

But the way I designed my program it would be a lot easier.
One of these day's,...sigh!.

I would love to check out your links 5,000 cool, trade you some links for your collection.
And I will add them to my own giving you full credit.

They have not yet got all the bugs out of Windows XP.
I will be waiting awhile before I upgrade. My girlfriend is a Tech and even she is not gonna run out to buy the latest greatest OS Vista. I do not know Windows XP Pro as well as I know Windows 95,98,98SE,ME. So I am waiting until I know Windows XP Pro as well if not better that previous versions of Windows.

Knowing Windows "There will be a lot of bugs." There always is.

Like the Rube Goldberg devices I am also intrested in Perpetual Motion Machines.
Free Energy-Machines.

I was reading an article the other day, about NanoTech "Quantum Mechanics" and "String Theory" Which I think a very good representation is a fractal a created
http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?ID=324811&SubGal=Fractles.

The smaller we go into the Quantum Field there is no heat, no vibration, no resistance, wires that regenerates and none of the things that cause major problems for those of us not in the Quantum level.

So imagine if you will,... those Perpetual Motion Machines in the Quantum Realm, spinning forever and creating free energy, for you and I too use.

Everything that takes a battery, cell phones,PDA's even our cars, because at the Quantum level you can 1,000 or 100,000 or 1,000,000 to billions of little power cells powering our homes our cars, cell phones, PDA running on free energy.

Just you wait, it will happen in our life time.

hmmm,... this sounds sort of like my idea.

When I surf I drop a lot of links to my desktop.
And my desktop become chaos really quick, what my idea was (which I have drawn a graphic for-not quite done yet) I small window that stays open on my desktop.
I cut and paste (the Links, Program~shortcuts TxT doc's ,images what ever) drop them into the window, until I decide what I am going to do with them.

I will work more on the image and animation so you can gain a better idea of what I mean.
