take a microsoft component and stick it into a decent app and right away it collapses... maybe it's time to do away with the explorer pane.. eh, mouser?
5727  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: SC crashes on right-click on: September 14, 2006, 01:22:57 AM

5728  DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / Re: IDEA: One or two click screenshot emailer on: September 14, 2006, 01:14:56 AM
there's already a similar request here. this feature can't be implemented soon enough. in the meantime, this is how i do it with some help from irfanview.

this program has a plugin called "Send by Email" which allows IrfanView to send images as emails. it saves info about the sender, recipients, smtp server & also maintains a mini address-book.. all this in an INI file, so it is portable.

here's the config part..

5731  Special User Sections / Site/Forum Features / Re: Reply notifications not working.. on: September 11, 2006, 03:26:31 AM
the problem is solved.. i had inadvertently enabled a filter that moves all incoming mails from donationcoder to a separate folder and thus the systray applet had missed all the notifications. what a dunce i've been.. wallbash
5732  DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / Re: IDEA: Taskbar hider on: September 11, 2006, 03:17:35 AM

5734  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Pdf version of Help file.. on: September 11, 2006, 02:44:51 AM
mouser,
a PDF version of the help file would come in handy for off-line reading since CHM files are notoriously difficult to print.. also, it would save me the time to google for a CHM-to-PDF convertor.. Wink

sorry to revive an ancient topic.. Wink
but is there a compiled version of this tool? i couldn't find it in the forums.. btw, why not link to AddNote from F+rr itself, that way it'll be easier to find..
5737  DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / Re: IDEA: Symantec anti-virus auto-updater on: September 11, 2006, 02:11:09 AM
it's not like Skrommel to be away from coding for so long.. has anyone else noticed him? is he on a sabbatical?  Wink

i'm a bit vague about "hiding" and "removing from view".. there are some discussions here about taskbar apps but i not sure whether that fits the bill... try googling, you're bound to come with something

5747  DonationCoder.com Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: quickdoclauncher.exe on: September 04, 2006, 09:32:46 PM
so, f+rr doesn't just "double-click" on the Word documents, it sends the file to quickdoclauncher... ok, if it keeps f+rr sprightly..

P.S. try googling quickdoclauncher.exe
5748  DonationCoder.com Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: Apologies if this is OT... on: September 04, 2006, 09:27:54 PM
Launchy looks aesthetic, but imo it lacks a bit on the customising side.. and it would be nice i want to make a screencasting on how to launch a program but for day-to-day use, i'd still stick with f+rr. Thmbsup
5749  DonationCoder.com Software / Find And Run Robot / quickdoclauncher.exe on: September 04, 2006, 09:22:56 PM
what does quickdoclauncher.exe do? other than launch documents quickly..? tongue
can i use it independently from f+rr?
5750  DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / Re: They Dont want you to close them: how to close related background applicatio on: September 03, 2006, 09:56:24 PM
You could use www.sysinternals.com "pskil", and write a batch file to kill the processes.
as a matter of fact, there are some solutions in this thread...
