A good overview of advantages and disadvantages of not having comments on your blog, an approach more and more writers take. For most people, a comment form is an essential part of what a blog is, and most of us enjoy the opportunity to leave feedback (even if we do so only rarely). But there are also plenty of possible reasons why comments are unnecessary, or undesirable.

Thanks for your feedback kalos. I don't think NoteMe is the right program for you - it will never ever do batch email, as this enables spam. You have a valid point about the robustness of sending however, I will take that into account for future versions.
NoteMe is not for automatic / enterprise level notifications it's simply a tool to send yourself a couple of words. There are better tools for what your uses, maybe something like opsview, splunk for example.

Feature request: I notice that when I add decoration to a screenshot (SpecialFX, highlights, squares, arrows) and I use one of the SendTo options, it will send the screenshot without the decor. I understand you might want people to purposely "save" the picture, but I'd like to see the default be that the image 'as you see it' is sent, even if it is a temporary copy. If you don't agree with that, perhaps ask if I am sure if I want to send the picture with unsaved changes.
It has caught me out more than once. That said, amazing program!

Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Email services integration

Anyone knows any software/tips that will integrate my emails with webservices and/or their apis? I'm happy to try out thunderbird addons, gmail addons, new products etc.
I want to easily send emails to other services. For example: * Weblinks "send to" > pinboard | instapaper * bug reports and features i can "send to" > helpdesk * gift ides to a wishlist etc * recipes "send to" > evernote
And ideally archive the original email in one step.
I thought surely there must be something but haven't found anything, probably because writing a totally new email client is quite a project. Yes I know about gmail filters and email in, I'm looking for "click click done", not "reply type in an addressbook search, verify email address, send, archive".

I'm using TyperTask (free, 53Kb!). It works in many different programs where previously I had some issues with other programs not expanding. It's been a while so I cannot quite remember the details. Increase your efficiency by automating your keyboard with TyperTask! This tool simulates keyboard typing, and can be used to instantly type common phrases. Use it to automate chat conversations, website logins, programming code blocks, HTML tags, or anything else you can imagine.
It even has advanced automation features, including launching programs, window activation, delays, and mouse clicks, so it's capable of performing complex tasks. Configuration is easy with simple text files. It has vTask's powerful keyboard simulation engine, so it can handle international codes and system keys such as <Control>.
The included help file demonstrates many TyperTask uses. No installation required.
TyperTask will automate your keyboard when a "signal" is typed. For example, when you type "hth", it will auto type "Hope this helps!"

Is there an existing community that will pick up development? From what I've read, you will simply spend the time stimulating the community around your project instead of developing otherwise. Just open sourcing a project doesn't make it active.
What about giving yourself an incentive to develop it by making it a commercial product?
