dunno if this helps at all, but Gothic and I are going to be in Belgium as of June 4th.  She can crash with us if she needs to, I know it isn't France, but... it can be a last resort-- without having to go all the way back to Australia.
8  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: The Geek's "100 things to do before you die" list on: May 07, 2009, 10:48:49 AM
Hahaha!

Gothic has to learn how to talk to people in general, not just girls.

I, on the other hand, need to learn how to talk "geek" with Gothic so he talks to me more.  tongue
especially now that I am not working all day anymore. I think I am driving him a bit crazy.  Kiss
9  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: The Geek's "100 things to do before you die" list on: May 06, 2009, 09:50:40 PM
I read that list to Gothic and he was getting really agitated. He has done more then half of that list by a long shot... and then plainly said that  the list is not "Geeky".  tongue

Then again, this is gothic we are talking about... the geekiest of all geeks. LOL.

17  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: What is a mouser? What does it mean to mouser someone? on: January 05, 2009, 07:18:11 PM
you know its bad when you term in "real life" at work or something... and people look at you funny.  tongue then you have be like "oh never mind"...

But I also would like to say that Mouser cannot sit still to save his life. That guy must have random though processes that in the middle of one thing his brain goes and sais " hey why don't I go and make some pizza" thus leaving the conversation....

I admit that I am also like that at times, but at least I will say, BBL or something.... Grin

20  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: What do you do during your free time? on: August 24, 2008, 01:49:17 PM
I will come at this from another point of view- since I, myself, am not a programmer... But, I am married to the biggest computer geek on the planet (points at Gothi[c]).
I can safely say that if it was not for me? he would not even know what "outside" looked like, or even know that people existed in flesh form.  tongue

I doubt we would have the cash to get there, but I know gothic and I would love to at least TRY to get there smiley
22  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: the award for most clueless pc user ever - my candidate. on: March 08, 2008, 09:10:11 PM
i have a friend who used to work in tech support. I said that there were so many people out there who asked the strangest of questions. Like this one woman who called cuz she did not know where to put a disk. and when he told her, she was like "ohhhhhhh, i thought that was a cup holder"

though i really cant laff at stuff like that. Cuz i do some really stupid stuff on the computer and get all frustrated and need gothic to "fix" it for me. which usually is just one click. heheeh.... tongue
23  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: What annoys you to no end? on: February 28, 2008, 09:25:14 PM
yeah deozan, Gothic went through the lengthy and expensive procedures to get his permanent residence card....   did I mention expensive???? It took us about 2 years just to get enough money to file all that paperwork. It was nuts.

Anyways, I don't agree with the "illegal" immigrants, but I do think that immigration should be a little less expensive. I mean, give people a chance right? Do all the paperwork, back ground checks whatever, but why does it have to cost this outrageous price to do it?

Ok, I will shut up now...
24  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: What annoys you to no end? on: February 27, 2008, 08:39:23 PM
or when the cat pukes on your important papers Sick
25  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: What annoys you to no end? on: February 27, 2008, 06:10:38 PM
I agree with all of the rants about drivers. I am on the road a lot due to my work, and I can tell you so many horror stories.... those of which probably could have been preventable if people were patient and obeyed traffic laws.

Other things that annoy me is when someone puts an empty container back into the fridge. Or when my pager/cell phone goes off at a time when it is really most inappropriate.  mad
and who is it that  takes a shower and puts  the wet towel on the bed???? Grrrrrrrrrr
