Yeah I always thought they weren't really such a good idea. Take your computer problems to a real pro.

I have never used either of those, but looking at a screen shot on getpaint.net, in the history box there was a layer visibility applied, so I would thing that under the effects menu maybe or the layers menu maybe you would find it. though I use adobe photoshop, and it is under the layers window.

Mine is set up where the topic with the newest post is at the top, so I read the newest posts first.

What do you mean by "I want to make my forums cooler.?"

cooler as in better than the default install, right now I am not using any mods and havnt installed any themes yet, so it is plain and boring, so I am going to look at the links mouser posted and see if I can get it to work.

Edit: I just got finished looking at the smf forums, and found some ones method of getting around the safe mode problem, so I am going to try it when I get home from school, thanks for pointing me in the right direction mouser.

I was wondering if there is a way to install mods on smf forums with safe mode turned on? I would have to submit a proof of id to have it turned off (for security reasons). I do not want to do that, so I was wondering if anyone had a way to install mods on smf forums without having to turn off safe mode? Please help, I want to make my forums cooler.

is that in the current version of cut away available for download? Because I just downloaded it, and when I open it and try to cut away a part of a window, all it does is remove all of the window, and when I let go of the mouse button the program closes, and I have to reopen it and unhide the window I cutaway.

wow, thats funny right there, taking freeware site text, and putting it on a paid site with a program that from what I understand does basicly the same thing as the freeware program does.

Ok, so my brother has an ati tv tuner card for his computer and he doesn't like the lamo tv software that comes with it. between the two of us, we cant find any good software, by software, I am meaning the program used to watch tv on your computer with. I was hoping some one has made, or knows of a good tv program that suports auto comercial skipping, or in other words when you are recording the show to watch it later, it will not record the comercials. please and thank you in advance. 

you meen the transparent view that microsoft made in there os which makes the window transparent when you drag it, slowing down a slow computer?

you cant make it yourself, but you can use googles screensaver, I use it now, and it is running on both my monitors, but your probly wanting to make and exe to install it on a difrent computer, so GS wouldnt work would it?

If you are wanting to temp disable the stuff (just that one use) then you can use a program called showin, it lets you disable, or remove tons of stuff, but just that one time, when you close than reopen the prog they are back

It would be realy cool if you could have a version of cutAway that would have an icon in the task bar, and you just like double click on it, and then drag over the area you want to cut away. the current setup id confusing, I dont like the way that it cuts away everything wen u click it, and you have to drag over the parts you want to stay.

on a side note, put the tabs at the bottom when using fungustab, and then dl desktop coral, and put it at the bottom, right above your start bar, and the tabs will still show up when you hit the maximize button, tho one thing I would like is to have 2 coral bars, so I can put one on my second monitor also.

yes, but mp3 files at a larger bit rate are larger in size than smaller ones, so you cant put as many on a cd as you could if you shrunk the bit rate down.

Thanks kimmchii I think Dbpower amp is what I am looking for. I was wanting to drop the bit rate a little so I could fit more songs on a single cd. (not an mp3 disc) This seems to let me select multiple files and convert them to what ever bit rate I want, thanks!

So the other day, I was wanting to convert a bunch of mp3's bitrates, but being that I have a bunch of them, it would take me way to long to convert them one by one, so I was wondering if any one knew of a program, or could make one, that would convert multiple mp3 bitrates. I had a program that would do it, but it wouldn't keep the id tags, and I dont want to go back and change over 100 id tags.

oh excuse me, I fogot to mention, 3d analizer doesnt work for me either, and with vmware, I am still fixing that up, so I cant use it.
