May be why developer has been in US and talk with Steam/Valve? :)

One of the things I picked up from watching streams at JTV, usually there are 2-3 doing Minecraft http://www.justin.tv/directory/gaming

I find it more sad than interesting. There is already a donation feature on Add-on site and how come he can't sell his stuff on his own?

Also he somehow forgot to mention that he now packs url fixer with another add-on, opt-in but still. What happens if set on $$$. People do not like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2871/

Not like Mozilla do much clean up of add-ons as it is. Mozilla marketplace will be same copycat chaos just not free - and with noisy arguments of who made what, like originally. Mozillas name is useful for a marketplace but they should stay out of it.

Looks like an abandoned project which is a bad mix with this type of software. If you want something exotic without being experimental try Immunet http://www.immunet.com/main/index.html

Better link for how they see them self http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?/topic/352-thoughts-on-efficacy/ Pro version use Bitdefender as offline AV btw.

Clueless end-user who thanks to marketing pay for advanced security software but not prepared or able to manage it correctly. MSE is about the level majority can manage, ends most "need for whatever new layer of defense" debates. More advanced stuff which can create problems in mysterious ways is for the chosen ones. KISS and less marketing BS is the answer :)

But is that because security programs conflicts with installer or because there is little trust in users ability to handle popups and questions? Experience might suggest developers to cover their butt because of paranoid/clueless users who mess up installation with their protection shields. Who to blaime?
