Speed isn't a problem for me but I've had memory issues. I opened nothing but a MySpace page the other day & saw my memory instantly jump by 300MB. Maxthon has a fantastic online forum. I was going to ask about the problem there, however my Windows install is a couple years old & I'm not convinced M2 is the problem. I'm hoping to reinstall Windows in a couple weeks.
It's still the best browser, for me anyhow.
Also, some may be interested to know that you can use the Gecko engine with M1. I don't think this has been implemented with M2, at least not yet.

Wow! Sorry, I'm late. Wish I saw this thread when it first came out. Thanx wr975. In the script, is it possible to incorporate a Refresh of the Explorer window after extracting single file archives to counter the file invisibility problem? Did everybody associate the script with each filetype, 1 by 1, or is there an easier way to do this? Sometimes the name of the archive file is more appropriate than the name of the folder/file that has been extracted (hereto referred to as the extractees). Would it be possible to add the name of the archive (minus the extension) to the clipboard so that it can be appended to an extractee if desired? Hope I'm not asking for too much.

I'd also like to see the volume represented by a simple bar in the tray like VolumeTray. Preferrably not green & red because that would be too similar to various task managers.
Hmmm...I'm not sure what you mean here That's cause I'm an idiot who didn't realise the skins were for the system tray icon. :loopy: While were on the subject, I don't know why you don't use a skin with the bar as default. I'd also prefer the bar to take up the whole width of the icon but now I'm getting picky. for the next release, I have implemented a simple OSD per jbeek's request. It's bitmap based, so it's easy to make your own customised OSD bar. What do you think?
I like to have the system tray icon so that you can see the volume without having to change it, but when it comes to changing, an OSD is optimum & that one looks just fine.

Hi skwire. Thanx for sharing this.
I love the leftclick mute functionality & the small mixer panel.
I'd also like to see the volume represented by a simple bar in the tray like VolumeTray. Preferrably not green & red because that would be too similar to various task managers.
NirSorft Volumouse allows you to change the volume with the mouse only (no keyboard required) which is why I'll stick with that for now.
I made the mistake of opeining the options dialogue when it was already opened: --------------------------- Volt.exe --------------------------- Error: The same variable cannot be used for more than one control per window. The current thread will exit.
Specifically: vddl_TrayMenu_Click_1

--------------------------- OK ---------------------------

With your reassurances I opened the file & it was a miniversion of GetRight that then downloaded the DMEX Bar.
TinMan, maybe you'd prefer an in-between version. Version 8 was floating around for a while. I'm curious to know what features the newest version is missing.

Australia had this problem when they altered daylight savings to conincide with the recent Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
Everyone using Windows XP was affected. Chaos!
Microsoft could have done more to fix the problem but didn't.

Hi skrommel.
Thanx yet again.
I'm having trouble with the latest version. I've rebooted my machine & it seemed 2 work a couple times but then clips stopped being copied.
When trying 2 copy I got the tooltip message "Empty selection" & I couldn't paste the selection. When I tried again I got the message "Same selection" & still couldn't paste.
The problem seems intermittent.
I'll try & determine the problem.
Still buggy.
