Afraid I won't hit the date either... So near yet so far. The only option missing now, is the ability to restore a file from a backup. I was hoping to have more time over the past two weeks to finish, but Christmas got in the way.... I will just have to release it late, as a non-nany-2013-app.

I appreciate that there is software out there that does this already, this is partly for my satisfaction....
What I am looking to create is a backup application, that will allow you to back up from your pc to a friends. Therefore, giving you effectively 'unlimited' backup space (well, whatever space they decide to give you).
In addition, you will have an option to back up the a removable drive and to an FTP server (which many people might have access to anyway).
Its very early stages, so I am open to ideas and imput if anyone has any?
Cheers
J.

Hi All,
I'd be interested if anyone else has given it a go, to see if anyone else is having the same issues as nkormanik ??
I can't get it to 'not' work. i.e. I CAN selected multiple files and it will move them to the parent, I CAN select multiple folders and move them to the parent. Also, the context menu is option is coming up on all file types for me (including PDF's).
nkormanik, are you sure you do not have files or folders already open (including subfolders) of those you are trying to move? Windows won't allow you to move them if open. Perhaps thats why you're getting the issue?
Cheers
J.

Strange, you should be able to highlight multiple files or folders, right click and it will remove all selected files or folders (you can't mix files AND folders, you have to do files and folders seperately).
As for why it didn't move the PDF? Odd, it shouldn't treat a pdf any different to any other file. Are yopu sure you didn't have the pdf file open at the time? You can't move a file that is currently open.
I'll put some error checking round it, and perhaps a simple install and un-install....

Hi all
This seemed to be going on a bit, so I would like to stick in my 2 pen'nth worth. Just a small little executable, stick it somewhere on your pc, set the path correctly in the .reg file. And, well, it should work... It works for me...
If the 'install' is a little overcomplicated, let me know and I'll do a quick instal script. Didn't think it would be worth it for an executable thats about 20k in size!
Let me know if it works...
J.

currently it only ran the 1st prog i added;
i added 3 to top and bottom box
it does not re-run that first prog after i move my mouse/press a key
when it initially runs the screensaver it displays a black rectangular box (background black w/ white text 'Idle')
this does not disappear after i move my mouse
Hmm, it runs all the programs for me (not just the first one). Have you tried highlighting the program thats not working in the list and clicking 'Test' to see if it runs ok? I changed the sensitivity of the mouse. The idea of the little box coming up is to simply tell you that the pc is idle, (and helps detecting Mouse Movement!) Try this newer version.
