A 2-5 ton portable hydraulic jack is nice to have.
I don't see too many flat tires any more though.
It takes a bit of room in the trunk (boot) but worth it if you need it.
Mine is in a handy case that weighs about 25lbs or so...had it a long time, don't remember the specs.
The factory jacks that come with most cars are an annoyance to use.
I've used it once for my truck and once for my son's car.
They can be found easy enough, parts stores, walmart, etc.

I don't have Vista, but that has happened with my W7.
I think it's the operating system, cause right click-refresh will show the image,
or when I've downloaded a picture to the desktop, I've had to refresh to see it.

we bought a 2013 Ford Taurus in November. It's the most enjoyable car to drive I've ever owned,

I can relate to that, I think I'm in love with my new car.  Cool
I know used is a better buy, sometimes, but new is special.

I just downloaded the latest beta v3.18.01 and I closed the Quickbar (it's not for me) but after logging off and back on the toolbar reappeared (I have Screenshot auto-load with Windows).  I then logged off again and back on and the same thing happened.

Click the settings button in capture bar and uncheck 'Enable and show Quick Capture Bar'.

Or uncheck it in the right click menu from the tray. hm I don't think this is correct.

Closing it only works for current window session.

Maybe have both the post-capture pop-up dialog and the Quick Capture Bar on by default.
Keeping the toggle for Quick Capture Bar in the tray menu and adding a toggle for the post-capture pop-up dialog.

edit- i see you already have a post capture toggle "After Capture Show"
i do like that

When I was a teen, I had a friend that had that same exact car.  It had a straight 6 engine and ran pretty strong.

It was actually called a slant 6, but it was straight, not a V6.
A very strong motor, I had to replace the distributor, and it ran great.

I liked the '61 Ford Truck too, but the worm gear went out on it.
Pretty dangerous since that is part of what controls the steering.
I had to turn the steering wheel around 1.5 to 2 times for it to catch.

One of my first cars was a '63 Dodge Dart.
Ugliest car this side of hell! But it ran good and the heater worked.
In no particular order before I got married and had to straighten up.
'71 Ford LTD, '61 Ford Truck,
'67 Dodge Monaco-a giant of a boat
bought for $175, put a carb on it and ran fine
'69 Chevy Truck, '71 Ford Torino, '85 Ford Ranger
Here's a pick off that dart, mine did not look this good.
It was rusted so bad that if you went through a puddle,
water would come through the floor boards.

If paypal didn't pay me like they should, I would quit them too.
It would be like giving them your work or money with no return.

i guess my point was the edit in my other post
took the long scenic route smiley
85  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: PayPal users are frauds :-( on: February 26, 2013, 04:06:16 AM
Yes, I know wraith, I had to be prepared for extended periods of time with no income or work. Sometimes I was and sometimes I was not. Or to spend the time and money preparing and getting to a job, only to be turned down due to a customer's whim or weather or some other reason. Or doing a large job that takes a couple of weeks and to wait, minimum, 30 days for payment. Here in the usa, the best advertisement is by way of the yellow pages, (for my type of work) and they know it, very expensive. Word of mouth happened a lot, but the phone rang more via the yellow pages.

edit- and yeah I got burned on a few jobs for a substantial amount of money, not many times but enough to demand cash in advance from certain types of corporations, or avoid them completely
86  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: PayPal users are frauds :-( on: February 25, 2013, 08:35:04 PM
As a seller or buyer one should not let paypal have direct access to your bank account.
At least, if you have too, set up an account just for paypal use.
Other then that use paypal through a credit card.
Then you can dispute any transaction with paypal and your credit card company.
It's in the rules of all credit cards (that I know of) that you can hold up any payment for a certain amount of time in order to settle any dispute.

And yes I have sold things through paypal, but not a car, lol, or anything that much.
I did not know you could buy a car through paypal, too big of a risk either way
87  Main Area and Open Discussion / Living Room / Re: PayPal users are frauds :-( on: February 25, 2013, 07:50:27 PM
The seller taking some risk, evens it a little.
It's usually the buyer who is at risk and the greater risk.

I'm not for underhanded transactions from either.
88  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: help with automatic file naming on: February 25, 2013, 06:19:20 PM
%numinc%, better if you delete various shots
%num%, if you don't

I'm thinking that's the difference mainly...

edit-
I see what you men about resetting the "Auto Incrementing Number" field back to 1.
Since %numinc% increases that number and %num% does not.
89  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: help with automatic file naming on: February 25, 2013, 05:24:56 PM
You can use %num% for 3 digit numbering.
90  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Screenshot Captor 3.17 Beta Test - Feb 23, 2013 - Feedback Wanted on: February 25, 2013, 09:00:53 AM
I configured the program to display the main window after doing a "grab selected region".

Most of the times the main window displays just the captured image (which is the expected result) but in certain cases an area is already selected. Seems to be that it happens when I select a region which is not in the center of the screen but nearer to the edges.

Found this one. In 'Post Capture Options' uncheck 'Auto Select Active Window'.

cool, thanks mouser
it's not a big deal to me, but i thought you would want to know
92  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Screenshot Captor 3.17 Beta Test - Feb 23, 2013 - Feedback Wanted on: February 25, 2013, 08:16:57 AM
yes i'll do another, i've deleted all those tests

sent by way of hotmail-
the caption came out gray on the ones with no text, for some reason
93  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: help with automatic file naming on: February 25, 2013, 08:14:59 AM
yes, here is how to do it
In the 'File Naming Template' option, 'Default New File Name' insert "%quickfield%" without the quotes. In the main window, in the 'File Name QuickField' put the name you want for your file, it will automatically start numbering as you add more to the folder.
94  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Screenshot Captor 3.17 Beta Test - Feb 23, 2013 - Feedback Wanted on: February 25, 2013, 07:47:40 AM
I hope I didn't bring this up for nothing.
I just thought it should save with saving inside of SC.
Last night I didn't think of save image as, I hardly ever use it.
Just save to the screenshot folder within SC and move on.
'Save image as' will save to any folder, of course...
95  DonationCoder.com Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Screenshot Captor 3.17 Beta Test - Feb 23, 2013 - Feedback Wanted on: February 25, 2013, 07:34:16 AM
"Save copy of Image as" will keep the caption and text. control + e
But not control + s, or, shift + control + s.
'save' and 'save as new version'
